Purpose
While writing this song our goal was to pair an edgelord chorus with a genuine call-to-resist. We love incongruities like that, they tend to stick out. We wrote one (very corny) version first, but ended up feeling like we needed two versions: one meant to be from the perspective of someone on the left, and one from someone on the right.
We'd hope it's obvious, but we do not condone or hope for real-world violence. This song is satirical and not an actual call for violence.
Both versions of the song have the same 'goal': to try to rally divided people together against our common enemies. Ice is the Face used for the purposes of a stupid catchy chorus, but the real war is our many against the few who keep us distracted, angry, and hating each other.
